FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT

VITO MAZZOLA

Architecture has been in my hands before it was ever on paper. I started in construction at fifteen — working alongside my father and uncles who built homes across Southeast Michigan. Through college I mastered finish carpentry and ran my own crew, learning the craft of how a home comes together down to the last detail. I'm a Licensed Architect and NCARB certified, with over 20 years of experience in both design and construction. I spent 15 years as a partner at a residential firm, designing hundreds of homes — custom builds, renovations, additions, and multifamily projects. In 2024, I founded MAV Design Group. The name comes from my three kids — Maryanna, Amelia, and Vito Jr. — a reminder that every home we design is someone's foundation.
